Agave nectar is the single worst ingredient in a home bar to measure by eye. At 1.28 g/ml it is the densest thing most people pour: 15 ml weighs 19.2 g, nearly 30% more than the volume implies, and it clings to the inside of a jigger so a meaningful fraction never reaches the glass at all.
