1. Who we are

This website sells the PourPilot coaster, a Bluetooth guided-pour coaster, within South Africa. Contact: support@pourpilot.co.za.

2. Orders & payment

• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). We are not a registered VAT vendor, so no VAT is charged on your order and we cannot issue a tax invoice.
• Payment is processed by PayFast (card payments & instant EFT). Your payment details are handled entirely by PayFast; they never touch our systems.
• An order is confirmed once PayFast notifies us of successful payment. You will see confirmation on the order page and can keep its link as your reference.
• If a product is unavailable after you order, we will refund you in full within 7 days.

3. Shipping

• We ship within South Africa via tracked courier.
• Delivery is free on almost every order: we cover the first R200 of courier cost per coaster. In the rare case that the courier quotes more than that for your address — typically remote or outlying areas — the difference is added to your order. That amount is calculated from your delivery address and shown to you at checkout before you pay; you will never be charged a delivery amount you have not seen.
• Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days; delivery typically takes a further 2–4 business days depending on your area.
• We currently do not ship internationally. Email us if you would like to be notified when that changes.

4. Cooling-off period & returns (ECTA)

Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of delivery, without reason or penalty. To do so, email us with your order reference. Return the coaster in its original condition and packaging; you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. We will refund the full purchase price within 30 days of cancellation.

5. Warranty (CPA)

In addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (which provides an implied 6-month warranty on new goods), every PourPilot coaster carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If your coaster fails under normal use within 12 months, we will repair or replace it, or refund you, at your choice as provided by the CPA. The warranty does not cover damage from liquid ingress beyond normal splash exposure, drops, or modification of the device.

6. Safe use

• The PourPilot coaster is intended for adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.
• The coaster is splash-resistant, not waterproof: wipe it clean; do not submerge it or put it in a dishwasher.
• Use a standard USB-C power source (5 V).

7. General

These terms are governed by South African law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
